Matchday6 is operated by Stiona Software Limited trading as Matchday6.

For player account, entry, verification, payment, prize and compliance data, Stiona Software Limited / Matchday6 is the data controller.

2. What personal data we collect

Name, date of birth, address, email address and mobile number.
Club supported and campaign / landing page used.
Account details, login details and communication preferences.
Entry history, prediction history, score selections and Smart Pick use.
Payment-related information, credit balances, refunds and chargebacks.
Age, identity, address and location verification information.
IP address, device information, location signals and fraud-prevention information.
Cookie, analytics and website usage information.
Marketing preferences and consent records.
Complaint, customer support and dispute records.
Safer gambling, self-exclusion, time-out and account restriction records.

3. Why we use personal data

To operate Matchday6 and provide player accounts.
To verify age, identity, location and eligibility.
To process entries, credits, payments, refunds and chargebacks.
To allocate club fundraising shares and prepare aggregate club reports.
To settle results, contact winners and pay prizes.
To prevent fraud, duplicate accounts, misuse, location circumvention and prohibited activity.

4. Legal bases

5. Data shared with clubs

Clubs receive aggregate fundraising information and their club performance data, such as number of entries, funds raised and general campaign performance.

By playing Matchday6, players consent to clubs seeing player names. Further information such as email addresses, phone numbers or identifiable entry details is only shared for club marketing if the player has separately opted into club communications or another lawful basis has been confirmed.

6. Marketing consent

Players are asked separately whether they wish to receive Matchday6 marketing and club marketing.

Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect the lawfulness of messages already sent or the use of data needed to operate entries, handle prizes, manage accounts, prevent fraud or comply with legal obligations.

7. Who we share data with

Payment providers and banking/payment processing partners.
Age, identity, address and location verification providers.
Platform, hosting, database, security and customer-support providers.
Email, SMS, WhatsApp and marketing technology providers.
Prize/payment providers such as CleverCards.
Prize-cover or prize administration partners for the £100,000 top prize.
Fraud, AML, safer gambling and compliance providers.
Regulators, law enforcement, courts, tax authorities and other public bodies where required.
ADR providers and professional advisers.
Clubs, but only in aggregate form by default or where player consent / lawful basis permits identifiable sharing.

8. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including account management, legal and licence obligations, AML/fraud prevention, tax/accounting, complaints and dispute handling.

9. Player rights

Players may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent and complain. Some rights may be limited where Matchday6 must retain data for legal, regulatory, fraud, AML or dispute reasons.
